Jojoba Oil
Jojoba is non-toxic and non-allergenic, making it suitable for newborns up. Extracted from a seed, rather than a nut, jojoba oil closely resembles the skin's natural sebum, providing hydration without compromising the skin barrier. Its non-greasy and lightweight nature allows it to absorb quickly, reducing inflammation and repairing dry, damaged skin.
Calendula
Derived from marigold flowers, calendula is renowned for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps protect the skin barrier, promotes wound healing, and reduces inflammation and irritation, all while nourishing the skin. Calendula is particularly effective at supporting skin repair as you work on addressing the internal root cause.
Chamomile
Chamomile is a calming botanical known for its ability to reduce inflammation, redness, and irritation. Rich in natural flavonoids, it delivers powerful anti-inflammatory benefits, helping to soothe itching and relieve common skin concerns. Its gentle nature makes it especially well-suited for sensitive or reactive skin.
Marshmallow Root Extract
Marshmallow root, a herb used for centuries, is renowned for healing red, damaged skin and relieving skin irritation and inflammation. Research suggests that its topical application may help manage eczema. With its anti-inflammatory properties, marshmallow root extract soothes and softens the skin, making it an excellent choice for sensitive skin.
The Oil was mindfully developed by our founder Caitlin - a Midwife, Nurse, and Nutrition Consultant.
After receiving countless questions from parents about which oil she recommended, Caitlin realised there wasn’t a truly clean, inclusive option she could confidently stand behind - one that was free from common irritants, nut oils, and food allergens (which can increase the risk of developing sensitivities through topical exposure).

Fragrances are a collection of chemicals that are used to give a product a certain smell or scent. According to the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) 3,059 materials can be used in fragrance. Many of which, have been linked to reproductive toxicity, endocrine disruption, allergies and more. In fact, a single scent can contain anywhere from 50-300 chemicals. You can read more on this here.
Our little one's organs and immune systems are still developing and are incredibly vulnerable to fragrance (hence the main reason we chose not to include it).
As an eco-conscious small business, we aim to minimise plastic use as much as possible.
The potential risks of microplastics are greater for infants because they lack sufficiently developed metabolising enzymes, have a reduced ability to eliminate microplastics, and possess highly sensitive target organs. Because of this, plastic bottles were not an option.
